KWDF x The 7th Annual End of The Year Jawn

On December 17th, we gathered in Kensington, Philadelphia alongside other organizations, businesses, and non-profits to help facilitate the 7th Annual End of the Year Jawn! This event was led by Safe Hub and The Block Gives Back, two non-profits that focus on serving the communities of North Philly. The goal of the "End of the Year Jawn" was to give families the opportunity to collect winter clothing, winter gear, hygiene products, and additional resources to prepare for the season ahead. Families also had the opportunity to select Christmas gifts, take pictures with Santa, and enjoy other winter festivities! We contributed over 600 pairs of gloves to this event, and by the end of the day they were all GONE! It was truly empowering to witness a variety of organizations come together and put on an event that positively impacted hundreds of people in the Philadelphia community this holiday season.
